Keeping your team on track can be a "challenge". Use this suggested timeline to make sure your team is ready for the Affiliate Tournament on March 21, 2026.
SEPTEMBER - Create a team! Purchase a team number.
OCTOBER – Purchase team number, introduce Central Challenge and Instant Challenge to your team, do lots of Instant Challenges and Ice Breakers, discuss the Central Challenge and ways to solve it
NOVEMBER – Choose your Team Challenge. The team will start writing script, assigning characters, plot, discuss scenery. Do Instant Challenge at every meeting.
DECEMBER – The team should finish writing the script. Assign it as homework, if needed. Make final decisions on characters, plot and scenery. Still doing Instant Challenge at meetings.
JANUARY – The team needs to begin building scenery, creating costumes, and likely meeting on weekends. Find time to continue doing an Instant Challenge at each meeting.
FEBRUARY – Final Stretch! The team should finish construction of props, scenery, and devices. Remember to perform dress rehearsals. Practice moving scenery while wearing costumes. Use a timer to calculate how long the performance is. Be sure to include moving the scenery. Complete online paperwork for the tournament. Keep doing Instant Challenges!
