JOIN YOUR REGIONAL BOARD

• Regional Partnership Coordinator:

Create partnerships and relationships with regional businesses, schools, programs and community members to extend our footprint throughout VA.

• Tournament Co-Director: Do you like to plan big parties? If you enjoy organizing events and creating fun, you would love this! Help us to plan our celebrations of creativity!

• Merchandising: Do you enjoy online shopping? Do you have a creative spark that could help create DI pins, t-shirts and other products? Put your talents to work for us!

• Marketing: Why isn’t everyone doing DI? We know how great our challenge program is, so help us get the word out!

• IT Committee: Do you have technical skills that you’d like to put to good use? Help us to maintain and improve our website, increase brand awareness through social media.

• Teacher/Trainer: We need help getting introductions to schools (public and private) and organizing DI programs throughout each region. 

• Other: We have other open positions in each region.  Help us fill them today.

BECOME AN APPRAISER

• What is an Appraiser? The solutions to Team Challenges and Instant Challenges at the tournament are evaluated by friendly volunteers called Appraisers. The ApPRAISEr's  job is to PRAISE the accomplishments of each team, and to evaluate each team's solution. In Destination Imagination, the emphasis is on what each team produced, not what they failed to produce. 

• Appraisers must be a high school graduate (or equivalent) and at least 18 years old.

• You will attend a training session in February and attend our Affiliate (state) tournament in March.

• Prepare to have fun!
