Liza,
Victoria, Will, Caroline, and Emily had never heard of DI when
Sara B. entered 6th grade at Stuart Hall.
Sara had been to Globals
the year before with her team from Highland Middle School. She
was all revved up to go again so she asked her new friends if
they would like to participate in this fun adventure.
They agreed and an award winning team was formed (in all ways!)
The kids had no idea they would make it to Globals (or even
win at Regionals) but they did an amazing job from the start.
Each year they develop a unique imaginative plot that is out
of the ordinary. The first year they were peanuts inside a bag
at an old time carnival, who were about to be eaten. The next
year they became items from a picnic that had gotten lost and
needed to return to their refrigerator.
This
year they transformed themselves into plants. Mr Hollaway, a
greedy mushroom stranger, comes to the city of Solarville to
sell his unneeded product, ‘Sun in a Can’. He is
bound and determined to sell it to four plant friends. He goes
through extreme measures to trick them into purchasing his product
but soon realizes that friendship is more important than money.
Their plots have a lot of twists and puns and
they have an enormously good time building upon each other’s
energy and ideas as they work their magic!
These kids really work great together...and this
is their 3rd trip to Globals as a team!
